Day in Stuttgart

Stuttgart war unglaublich schön! Besonders an diesem sonnigen Tag. Jeden Samstag findet dort auf dem Marktplatz ein Flohmarkt statt und natürlich war dieser mein erster Besichtigungspunkt. Ein Stand schöner als der Andere und das in einer bezaubernden Umgebung. Ich habe den Flohmarkt vollbepackt mit kleinen Schätzen verlassen und hoffe das es nicht mein letzter Besuch war.

Translation: I’ve spent a beautiful day in Stuttgart and even the weather was dreamlike! There is a big flea market every Saturday and of course we’ve made a visit. I’ve found many lovely things and bought far too much. ;)

Der Hauptgrund, warum wir nach Stuttgart fuhren, war eigentlich der Hochzeitstag des Bruders meiner Mutter. Es wurde in einem schönen Hotel gefeiert, wo wir auch die Nacht verbrachten.

Translation: The main reason for visiting Stuttgart, was the wedding day of my mother’s brother. They celebrate in a beautiful hotel, where we’ve also spend the night. xx

Endlich Wochenende.. und der Himmel ist strahlend blau! Ich brauche jetzt wirklich etwas Erholung von dieser anstrengenden Woche und werde es mir deswegen in unserer Hängematte im Garten gemütlich machen.

Translation: Weekend is finally here.. and a cloudless blue sky! I need a little outdoor leisure so I’m going to ensconce me in our hammock in the garden. I’m over a exhausting week!

Raspberry Muffins

I’m a bit sickly and just hang around at home, so I thought about baking some Muffins. We have plenty of Raspberrys in our garden, so I’ve made some tasty Raspberry-Muffins. Have fun bake yourself!

Ingredients:

- 1 egg white, 100g flour, 50g oat flakes (I’ve used fresh kibbled oat), 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 2 tbsp. margarine, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 eggs, a small package of vanilla sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 150 ml buttermilk, 100g Raspberrys

Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Whisk the egg white until stiff.

Combine oat flakes, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat margarine, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and buttermilk until frothy in another bowl.

Add the whipped egg whites, Raspberrys and flour mixture.

bake 20 to 25 minutes.

Dieses Mal waren die Kerwetage leider etwas verregnet, aber heute Mittag verzogen sich die grauen Regenwolken dann doch noch ein bisschen. Ich finde der Rummel hat immer irgendetwas magisches und romantisches an sich, besonders wenn abends die Leuchtschilder und Lichterketten die Nacht erhellen. Leider habe ich vergessen Bilder von dem tollen Feuerwerk zu machen.

Heute haben wir dem wunderschönen Blumenpark in unserer Nähe mal wieder einem Besuch abgestattet. Ich finde es immer wieder beindruckend, wie er sich von Jahreszeit zu Jahreszeit verändert und welche Blumenpracht er diesmal zu bieten hat. Meine neue Kamera hatte ich natürlich dabei, damit ihr euch auch ein Bild davon machen könnt.

Translation: These pictures are taken in the beautiful pleasure ground nearby home. I think the flowerage and how it changes with the seasons is awe-inspiring time and again. Of course I’ve packed my new camera, so you can get an idea of it.

PS: Even if you can’t see it: I’m wearing my new favourite peter pan collar blouse from chicwish. Mine is the ivory-colored one, but I adore the navy too.

Hooray! I’ve finally get an awesome, new camera! I’m rejoicing at checking everything out and making any dispensable pictures. I can hardly believe my luck! :) And sorry for showing my face so rare here. I’ve very little free time at the moment, but as soon as everything is getting less stressful, I’ll post some new Outfits. The weather is absolutely beautiful today so I’m heading off to do my homeworks in the garden now..

Hallo meine Lieben! Ich bin zurück aus dem Urlaub.. und schon hat mich mein Alltag wieder eingeholt. Ich bin also momentan ziemlich im Stress und deswegen erst jetzt dazu gekommen euch ein paar kleine Eindrücke mit diesen Bildern zu geben. Zugegeben.. ich bin dieses Jahr nicht wirklich zum Fotos machen gekommen.. das lag vielleicht auch daran, dass ich meine Kamera kurzzeitig verlegt hatte.. uups! ;)

Morgen fahren wir für eine Woche in den Urlaub! Ich kenne diesen Campingplatz schon seid ich ein kleines Mädchen war und bin dort immer wieder unheimlich gerne. Für mich ist es wie ein kleines, zweites Zuhause. Ich werde mich dann also gut erholt und mit ein paar hübschen Urlaubsfotos in einer Woche wieder bei euch melden. :)

Heute habe ich mit meinem Opa und meiner Oma, einen Ausflug zur Orangerie unternommen. Der Tag war zwar etwas grau und kalt aber dennoch wunderschön. Heute gibt es die Orangerie nicht mehr. Stattdessen findet man dort einen wunderschönen Hutladen und ein gemütliches Cafe.

Translation: Today I went on excursion to the orangery with my grandparents. Besides the foul weather, it was such a lovely day! Today the orangery is no more. Instead of that, there is a beautiful shop for hats and a nice cafe.

Habe nur ein bisschen mit meinem Bearbeitungsprogramm herumgespielt und ein paar neue Effekte ausprobiert. Den Rucksack hatte ich mir neulich bei Accessorize bestellt. Ich liebe das Blumenmuster und noch dazu war er total heruntergesetzt.

Ist das Jeanskleid nicht toll? Ich wollte schon seid längerem eines und als ich dann dieses Exemplar bei Misselfridge entdeckte, wanderte es sofort in den Warenkorn. Und die süße Brosche, die ich auf einem Flohmarkt ergattert hatte, finde ich passt super! Das Wetter ist einfach traumhaft schön und ich kann es kaum abwarten endlich in den Urlaub zu fahren. In ca. 2 Wochen geht es los – campen. Dort gibt es ein tolles Naturschwimmbad mit Steg! Vielleicht kennt ihr ja die Fotos von letztem Jahr?

Translation: Isn’t this denim dress so lovely. I drive at such a dress for a long time and when I saw this one at Misselfridge, I knew that it have to be mine. The cute brooch, I’ve found at a flea market, fits perfectly! The weather is beautiful and I can’t wait for go on holiday. We’ll go camping in about two weeks. Ich genieße meine Ferien und das schöne Wetter in vollen Zügen. Und lieber als im Schwimmbad, bin ich an einem See; Auf der Wiese liegen, Eis essen, Muscheln sammeln, Sand zwischen den Zehen spüren. Endlich! Die tristen, grauen Tage weichen dem Sonnenschein. Dieses herrliche Meer aus blauen Kornblumen haben wir auf unserem heutigen Ausflug ins Grüne entdeckt. Ich hätte den ganzen restlichen Tag an diesem märchenhaft schönen Ort verbringen können! Das bezaubernde Kleid war eines meiner Geburtstagsgeschenke und ich finde zwischen all den Blümchen, macht es sich besonders schön. :)

Ich liebe Flohmärkte einfach über alles. Für mich sind sie wie kleine Zauberwelten voller versteckter Schätze, die nur darauf warten entdeckt zu werden. Natürlich findet man nicht immer etwas passendes und geht oft mit leeren Händen aus, aber einen Versuch ist es jedenfalls wert! Dieses Mal bin ich fündig geworden und ich kann es auch kaum erwarten, euch meine Entdeckungen zu präsentieren.

Rainy Days

Was ich am liebsten an regnerischen Tagen tue, ist bei einer Tasse warmem Kaffee und eingekuschelt in meinen Pyjama bei Kerzenschein zu lesen. Zum Beispiel blättere ich unheimlich gerne in Back-und Kochbüchern oder Zeitschriften. Trotzdem sehne ich mich nach ein paar Sonnenstrahlen. Dieses kalte, graue Wetter schlägt auch ganz schön aufs Gemüt. Wenigstens kam heute mein langersehntes Päckchen von Miss Selfridge an. Ich hatte mir ein hübsches Jeans-Kleid bestellt und es passt super. Besonders schön, finde ich die goldenen Knöpfchen.

Translation: My favourite thing to do on rainy days is reading while drinking a hot cup of coffee. I love browsing in baking books or magazines for example. But for all that I’m craving for some shafts of sunlight. This cold and grey weather really gets me down. At least my long sought for parcel from Miss Selfridge arrived. I’ve ordered a cute denim dress and it fits perfectly. I especially adore the golden buttons.

Es kommt mir vor wie eine halbe Ewigkeit, seitdem ich das letzte Mal ein paar Bilder gepostet habe. Im Moment ist das Wetter traumhaft schön und unser Garten leuchtet in bunten Farben. Passend zu dieser frühlingshaften Stimmung, trug ich mein geliebtes rosefarbenes Garten Party Kleid, romantische Röschen-Ohrstecker und ein selbstgemachtes Schleifenhaarband. Ich werde noch einmal Bilder in diesem Kleid machen, da man es hier leider nicht gut genug erkennt.

light chocolate cake

ingredients:

- 2 eggs

- 2 tsp. honey

- 100 g meal

- 100 g corn starch

- 1 pouch barm

- 6 tsp. cocoa

- 100 g yogurt (0,1 % fat content)

icing:

- bittersweet cooking chocolat

- chocolat chips and sugar pearls

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Mix the eggs, honey, meal, corn starch and cocoa in a bowl. After that, add the yogurt. Fill the dough into a small cake-tin and bake the chocolate cake for 30 minutes.

Fuse the couverture in a water bath and drizzle it over the cake. Finally add some chocolat chips and sugar pearls. Et voilà! :)

Ich bin verliebt! Eines meiner Geburtstagsgeschenke, war dieses nostalgische, elfenbeinfarbene Fahrrad. Mit ihm bin ich fast jeden Tag zu meinem Praktikumsplatz gefahren. Im Moment ist das Wetter einfach traumhaft schön und das nutze ich aus. Was ich jetzt noch brauchen würde, wäre ein hübscher Fahrrad-Korb. Dieser hier hat es mir sehr angetan. Leider ist er etwas zu teuer.

Tut mir leid, dass ich in letzter Zeit so wenig von mir habe hören lassen! Ich hoffe bald mal wieder ein paar Outfits posten zu können. Mein Praktikum ist jetzt zu Ende! Ich habe viel Neues dazu gelernt und hatte eine Menge Spaß. :)

Oben könnt ihr einen Glückskeks und meine 6-lagige Geburtstagstorte sehen!! Meine beste Freundin hat sie für mich gebacken. :) Der Kuchen ist mit weißer Schokolade überzogen und zwischen jeder Teigschicht ist eine Sahne-Himbeer-Creme. Hmmm!

Translation: I’m sorry that you haven’t heard from me in a while. I’m done with my internship now. It was such a great time and I’ve learned a lot. :)

So, da bin ich wieder! Tut mir leid, dass ich mich nicht schon früher gemeldet habe, aber es war eine wirklich stressige (UND wirklich schöne :) Woche. Oben könnt ihr ein paar Bilder von meinem Arbeitsplatz sehen. Den Schmuck, wie ihr vielleicht schon bemerkt habt, habe ich von Zuhause mit gebracht. Ich hatte nämlich die Aufgabe, mir ein Motto aus zu denken, nach dem ich dann Photos machen sollte. Ich stellte mir vor meinen Lieblingsschmuck an schönen Stellen in der Natur zu fotographieren. Hier könnt ihr jetzt sehen wie ich dies umgesetzt habe (die Photos sind noch nicht bearbeitet oder sonstiges) …

My Birthday

Heute ist mein Tag! Ich habe Geburtstag. Wie ein kleines Mädchen wurde ich von meinen Eltern mit “Happy Birthday to you” sanft geweckt. Der Frühstückstisch war schon hübsch eingedeckt und auf meinen Teller wartete ein mit brennenden Kerzen versehenes Schokoküchlein auf mich. Ich war ein sehr glückliches Mädchen dieses Jahr, und bekam alles was ich mir gewünscht hatte und mehr. :) Danach ging es auf zu meiner Praktikumsstelle ( ein Photostudio). Ich wurde durch das Geschäft geführt, durfte Kunden bedienen, habe Passbilder zurechtgeschnitten und und und. Nach der Mittagspause gab es sogar Kaffee, Kuchen und Schokolade.

Translation: Today is my Birthday! I was such a lucky girl this year and received some beautiful presents from my parents. The breakfast table was lovely laid and I eat a very yummy chocolate mini cake like every year. :)

Heute haben wir, trotz etwas schlechterem Wetter, einen kleinen Ausflug ins Grüne gemacht. Es war sehr schön nur eigentlich etwas zu kalt für dieses Kleid, doch mit Cardigan und Strumpfhosen erträglich. ;)

Wow, mein Geburtstag rückt immer näher. Nur noch 4 Tage! Am selben Tag beginnt übrigens auch mein Praktikum. Ich freue mich schon darauf euch mein Erster-Arbeitstag-/Geburtstags-Outfit zu zeigen. :)

Diese Bilder sind vor ein paar Tagen in einem hübschen Stadtpark entstanden. Auf dem Hinweg sind wir noch über den Wochenmarkt gelaufen. Ich liebe die hübschen Stände, das Getümmel und besonders die Auswahl an schönen Blumen. Der Stadtpark war an diesem Tag besonders bezaubernd. Die Sonne funkelte durch das Blätterdach, auf den Rasenflächen lagen Picknick-decken und Badetüchern ausgebreitet und die exotischen Vögel wurden gefüttert. :)

Ihr müsst doch denken, dass ich die ganzen letzten Tage auf blühenden Weiden und Wiesen verbracht habe. ;) Natürlich nicht, aber es zieht mich einfach immer wieder dorthin um Bilder zu machen. Ringsherum um unser Haus grünt und blüht es im Moment. Ich liebe es einfach auf dem Land zu wohnen!

Das Outfit ist eigentlich nichts sehr Besonderes, aber ich mag diese Bluse sehr. Sie ist etwas weiter, also sehr luftig und deswegen perfekt für das warme Wetter im Moment. Außerdem finde ich die Spitze an den Ärmelchen unheimlich süß. :)

Translation: I’m wearing nothing off the beaten track but I like this Outfit anyway. The Blouse is very airy and therefore perfekt for this warm weather. Besides I adore the cute lace at the sleeves. :)

Ein paar Photos die ich heute über den Tag gemacht habe. Das Wetter ist toll, aber ich habe heute noch eine Menge zu tun. Bereite mich gerade mit einer Freundin auf ein Referat vor. Außerdem habe ich nach den Osterferien 2 Wochen Praktikum in einem Photostudio. Ich freue mich schon ganz doll, bin aber auch unheimlich aufgeregt!!! Ich werde euch dann Bericht erstatten. :)

Das große Feld hinter unserem Haus blüht gerade in seiner vollen Pracht. Ich liebe es einfach zwischen den Blumen zu liegen, in den Himmel zu schauen und die Wolken zu beobachten. Das sind Momente in denen ich alles um mich herum vergessen kann und mich einfach frei und unbeschwert fühle. Leider könnt ihr das Kleid auf den Bilder nicht so gut erkennen. Es hat rote und weiße Streifen und ist wirklich hübsch. :)

Translation: The field at the back of our house is blooming in all its glory at the moment. I love it to lie in the grass while keeping track of the clouds. Unfortunately, you cannot see my dress very well. It’s red and white striped and really pretty. :)

Es ist wieder so weit. In 15 Tagen habe ich Geburtstag und ich freue mich schon wie ein kleines Kind darauf. Oben könnt ihr eine von mir zusammen gestellte Collage mit hübschen Kleinigkeiten sehen. In den Frühlings und Sommermonaten trage ich am liebsten helle und freundliche pastel töne, viel Blumenmuster und Spitze. Also wird es langsam Zeit meinen Kleiderschrank aufzufrischen. Ich hoffe alle meine Wünsche werden in Erfüllung gehen. :)

Als aller Erstes möchte ich mich bei euch dafür entschuldigen, dass ich meinen Blog in letzter Zeit so vernachlässigt habe. Ich hatte einfach furchtbar viel um die Ohren. Zum Beispiel war ich diesen Dienstag zu Besuch im wundervollen Straßburg. Es war ein wirklich herrlicher Tag mit tollem Wetter. :) An jeder Ecke gab es eine Bäckerei, Eine schöner als die Andere. Und natürlich kam ich nicht daran vorbei, mir ein paar Köstlichkeiten mit zu nehmen. Darunter auch meine ersten beiden Macarons, in den Geschmackssorten choco und choco-coco. mmmh :)

Translation: Sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve had a very stressful week. Last Tuesday, I’ve visited Straßburg and bought some tasty Macarons in choco and choco-coco flavour. :)

Der Beginn des neuen Jahres und dieses fabelhafte Wetter, lassen mich vom kommenden Frühling träumen. Aber es wird wohl doch noch für lange Zeit ein Traum bleiben, betrachtet man sich die Massen von Schnee und die Eiseskälte. Morgen ist Heilig Abend! Ich freue mich schon seit Tagen wie ein kleines Kind darauf. Schade nur dass mit diesem Tag auch das Ende der Weihnachtszeit eingeläutet wird. Die Tage sind wirklich wie im Flug vergangen. Ich habe nicht einmal die Zeit dafür gefunden einen Weihnachtsmarkt zu besuchen. Und ihr?

Christmas cookies

Ingredients:

♥ 50g minced hazel-nuts

♥ 130g meal

♥ 1 tbsp. cocoa

♥ 50g sugar

♥ vanilla sugar

♥ a pinch of nutmeg

♥ 100g butter

♥ 1 yellow of an egg

♥ 80g Cherry jam

♥ couverture

Instructions:

First of all; roast the minced hazel-nuts. Then stir out the hazel-nuts, the meal, the cocoa, the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the nutmeg in a bowl. Add the butter and the yellow of an egg and knead it together. Let the dough rest 30 min.

Preheat the oven to 180° C. Roll the dough out and trump hearts, stars whatever you want to. ;) Then bake it for 10 min.

Heat the jam and brush half of the cookies with it. Then apply the residual cookies to them. Fuse the couverture and drizzle it over your cookies. You can adorn the cookies with some sugar beads if you like.

dark and dreary days !

Hier ist es plötzlich eiskalt geworden! Man kann schon seinen Atem sehen und spürt die eigene Nase nicht mehr!!! Ach wie vermisse ich die herrlich milden Herbsttage. Bunte Blätter, klarer Himmel und Sonnenschein. Jetzt regnet es nur noch und der Winter klopft schon an die Türe.

Was mögt ihr am Winter? Diese dunklen, tristen Tage ziehen mich total runter. Ich brauche etwas Aufmunterung. :)

Translation: It’s freezing here! The sky is all over with a heavy cloud cover and it’s raining all the time. I miss the balmy autumn days! Beautiful coloured leaves, bright sky and sunshine. Now Winter’s on its way!

What do you like about winter? These dark and dreary days gets me down. I need some encouragement. :)

Als hätte sie geahnt, dass rot meine liebste Farbe ist. Besonders hübsch finde ich, dass sich darin die Umgebung spiegelt.
